The bar and restaurant openings just keep on coming. There are currently two uptown bars set to open, both near Columbia University … Bar 314 and Nobody Told Me.
Info is limited at this point, but here are some brief summaries.
Bar 314
1260 Amsterdam (between 122nd and 123rd Streets)
An Italian style bar with pizza and other Italian fare, plus over twenty cocktails focusing on apertivos, digestifs and other Italian bitters. Plenty of beer and wine too. Bar 314 comes from the chef of Babbalucci in Harlem, Andrew LoPresto. I’ve been there. They have an awesome aperol spritz and very flavorful crostinis.
Nobody Told Me
951 Amsterdam (between 106th and 107th Streets)
Chef Nick Pfannerstill and Alberto Miranda are currently working on the construction of this upcoming cocktail bar with a food menu.

Two more upcoming places we are REALLY excited to go drink at:
Gyu Kaku
620 Amsterdam Ave (between 90th and 91st Street)
This Japanese BBQ joint has a crazy sounding happy hour. This will include beers for $3.50 and cocktails ranging from $4 to $6! Read more about Gyu Kaku.
Tiki Chick
517 Amsterdam Avenue (between 84th and 85th Streets)
We don’t know that much about it, except for that it’s Jacob Hadjigeorgis’ newest project which will offer drinks and small plates (plus a fried chicken sandwich). So far, he’s brought us Jacob’s Pickles, Maison Pickle, and the slightly less popular Lucky Pickle Dumpling Co. But given his track record, this will be worth a visit.
