The Silent Disco — one of the most anticipated events of Summer on the Hudson — will be taking place on Saturday, June 4 from 6-10pm on Pier I (at West 70th Street). “Switch between three DJs playing different mixes of tunes. Headphone supplies are limited, so plan to arrive early!”
Enjoy another round of Open Streets on Columbus Ave between 68th and 77th streets on Sunday from 11am-7pm. Festivities will include games like Cornhole, Jenga and Pickleball; live music at Asset and Manny’s Bistro; an 11am children’s concert by Katie Dwyer on 72nd and Columbus Ave; and happy hours at Ella Social and Covacha. On Sunday from 6-7pm, head to the West Side Community Garden (123 West 89th Street) to enjoy live music by Latin American string quartet Sweet Plantain. This is part of the Garden’s “Music in a Garden” series, which you can learn more about here.
For the second year in a row, the outdoor dining shed at e’s Bar has been decked out with posters by local and international artists as part of the NYC Artwalk initiative.
