As snow continues to fall, Mayor de Blasio has issued a state of emergency, and a winter storm warning will stay in effect until 6am Tuesday. Most flights have been cancelled, and schools and COVID vaccine sites are closed.

The city could be hit with over 20 inches of snow, which would make Winter Storm Orlena tied for the fourth largest snowfall in NYC history.

Snow is also falling at rates as high as 3 inches per hour, with heavy winds making travel conditions difficult or close to impossible. As of writing, Central Park has been hit with over 5 inches of snow. It sure is pretty though.
