Playa Bowls, which specializes in super fruit bowls, smoothies and juices, will have its grand opening on Saturday, March 5 at 11am. The shop is located at 2327 Broadway, between 84th and 85th streets (formerly occupied by Origins).
For its grand opening, Playa Bowls will offer “free bowls and t-shirts for the first 50 customers in line,” a press representative tells us.

The new spot will be located right next to Baked by Melissa, which is currently the only business operating on the west side of this street. Former tenants of this block include Aldo (at 2321 Broadway) and Victoria’s Secret (at 2333 Broadway).
The 800 square foot location is Playa Bowl’s 141st location in the country, and its 14th in the state of New York (the closest of which is at 550 West 54th Street, The Mercedes Club).
