Crumbl’s giant cookie sculpture. Crumbl Cookies.
Friday, August 4 is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day. To celebrate, Crumbl Cookies is sending ten giant Milk Chocolate Chip cookie sculptures to big cities all around the country, and NYC’s cookie statue will be set up on the UWS.

The cookie sculpture will be placed at 65th and Columbus Ave. from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, and starting at noon, Crumbl staffers will be “handing out thousands of free Mini Milk Chocolate Chip cookies [while] supplies last.” We put that in quotes in case supplies don’t last long and you go home without a cookie.
Crumbl reps tell us a whopping 70,000 of these cookies will be given out at their ten sculptures around the country, which will be set up in Washington D.C.; Logan, UT; Nashville, TN; Las Vegas, NV; Anchorage, AK; Glendale, CA; Chicago, IL; Kissimmee, FL; and San Antonio, TX.
“Crumbl invites all cookie lovers to join us this Friday in celebrating National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day with our cookies from coast to coast! We’ll have photo ops, exclusive Crumbl merch, and of course, FREE cookies! Customers can earn double Loyalty Crumbs through our loyalty program on all in-store purchases and through the Crumbl App.”

Crumbl Cookies – which features a rotating weekly menu of six cookies (one of which is always chocolate chip) – has experienced rapid expansion since its founding in Provo, Utah, in 2017. It now has more than 600 bakeries in 47 states nationwide, “making it the fastest-growing cookie company in the nation,” per its website. The cookie business opened a location at 305 Columbus Avenue (corner of West 74th Street) in January.
The cookies from Levain are much better.
