Forcible Touching on C Train, Suspect at Large: VIDEO

Police have issued an alert about a forcible touching incident which took place last month at an Upper West Side subway station. The NYPD is hoping someone from the public will be able to assist them in identifying and locating the wanted individual.

According to the police report, the incident happened on Wednesday, September 25 at about 6:55 p.m. when a 30-year-old female was riding a northbound C train. When the train was approaching the 81st Street station, an unidentified individual allegedly “approached her and touched her private area,” according to the report.

The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. No injuries resulted from this incident.

Police describe the suspect as a “male with a beard, slim build, and dark complexion,” adding that he’s “approximately 40-45 years old and approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall [and] was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, grey pants, and black shoes.”
