Pesach Seders
Chabad of the West Side
The Chabad of the West Side is hosting two Pesach Seders for this year’s Passover celebrations. The first one will be held on Monday, April 10, at 8.30pm. The second seder will take place the following day on April 11 at 8.45pm. The kosher menu is catered by Batya’s Kitchen and promises to be a gourmet four-course meal to remember. Rabbis from Chabad of the West Side will lead these lively community seders.
Talia’s Steakhouse

Talia’s Steakhouse is offering a fantastic seder menu featuring two courses, an entree, and a dessert. The first course comes with an option of a mixed garden green salad or a roasted beet salad. The second course is a choice between traditional matzah ball soup or a vegetarian potato leek soup. They have five different entree choices available offering something for everyone. The chicken breast marsala roasted in a mushroom-herb wine sauce with mashed potatoes is a sure bet. However, the grilled salmon served with mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables is the perfect dish for seafood lovers. Desserts are varied and include plenty of options between chocolate mousses, fruit salads, cakes, and sorbets. Talia’s Steakhouse has become a Passover tradition for many Upper West Siders in the last 14 years. Their menu is Non-Gebroch and offers two seating times: one at 5pm and another one at 8pm.
Songs of Sacred Time: A Passover Concert, April 6 at 7.30pm
JCC Manhattan
Welcome the festivities of Passover by attending this intimate concert at the Jewish Cultural Center of Manhattan. Arielle Rosenberg of Congregation B’nai Jeshurun and Cantor George Mordecai of Temple Israel Center will be leading the concert with their talented voices. They’ll perform a repertoire of songs that contain meaningful lyrics exploring topics such as freedom, redemption, and courage. Guitarist Dan Nadel will be the musical director of the night. The artistic quarter Tavche Gravche will also be there ready to delight the audience with their blend of Jewish, Balkan, and flamenco beats. Excelsior Hotel
The West Side Center for Jewish Life is hosting two Passover seders at the Excelsior Hotel. The first seder takes place on April 10 at 7.45pm while the second seder starts at 8.30pm on April 11. Both seders will be led by Rabbi Israel and Chanchy Kugel. The menu is Non-Gibroks and features a 4-course dinner. Guests will be provided with four cups, haggadah, matzah, and the accessories needed to partake in other Passover rituals. These seders are open to people of different backgrounds and offer a welcoming environment for all. The West Side Center for Jewish Life’s mission is to make Jewish religion accessible to everyone by providing a wide variety of fun experiences and events year-round.
Passover Seders for 20s & 30s
Jewish Manhattan Experience
The Jewish Manhattan Experience is offering an alternative plan for those young professional Jews in their 20s and 30s. They are hosting two Passover seders with a laid-back and relaxing ambiance that’s aimed at creating a social and engaging experience. The first seder is on April 10 at 7.30pm in Bedford Park by 61 E. 34th St. It will be led by Rabbi Ezra Cohen. The second seder takes place the following night at 10.30pm by 131 West 86th St. on the Upper West Side. Rabbi Joshua D. Klein, a senior educator, will lead the catered dinner featuring a buffet table full of desserts and an open bar. You can either attend one of the seders or both, the choice is up to you. The MJE puts great events for young Jewish men and women who wish to meet others of their own age. They host Shabbat dinners, take ski trips, trips to Israel, and so much more!
