Friedmans, a popular eatery with a Columbia location, has opened a new location at 130 West 72nd Street! Friedmans is a family run business named after economist Milton Friedman, who coined the phrase “there ain’t no such thing as a free lunch”.

The original store opened in 2009 in the Chelsea Market, and the 72nd Street restaurant will be their sixth location (all are in Manhattan).
The menu focuses on gluten-free and wholesome fare. Some popular items include their Korean chicken wings, vegetable potstickers, chopped chicken shawarma salad, mac and cheese and burgers.
