720 West End Avenue Becoming Condo

There’s currently a proposal to convert a former senior living facility at 720 West End Avenue into a condo, New York YIMBY first reported. Brack Capital has filed plans with the LPC to turn the 352 senior living facility into 120 condos. They’ve contracted Morris Adjmi Architects to lead the design.

Expected amenities of the new condo include a swimming pool, music studio, squash court, outdoor terraces, a fitness center, library, art studio, wine cellar, dog washing room, a spa and parking facilities.

There will also be a “tween room” and children’s gymnasium.

The five residences on the top floor will each have access to a private terrace, ranging in size from 300 to over 1,000 square feet.

The LPC has not yet approved the project, but they are expected to. If and when the approval comes, the senior living facility (run by the Salvation Army) is expected to relocate to East Harlem.
