The NYPD’s 20th Precinct reports that a group of six entered the LensCrafters at 2050 Broadway (between 70th and 71st Streets) and stole eyewear amounting to a whopping $18,526 worth of product.

Five males and one female suspect reportedly committed the theft on Thursday, October 21 at about 12:45pm, and are currently being sought by the police.
An NYPD press representative tells us that they were first notified of the robbery by a 45-year-old female employee who told them that the “six (6) unknown individuals entered the location and removed items without permission or authority and fled the location on foot in different directions. No injuries were reported.”
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
