There’s some serious holiday fun to be had this Thursday in Morningside Park. And it’s free. It starts at 5pm with a tree lighting ceremony at 113th and Manhattan Ave in the park.
Then at 5:45pm, a fifteen minute holiday gospel performance by MAMA Foundation Sing Harlem.
And at 6pm, a free screening of ELF! Starring Will Ferrell, this is a hilarious and great movie for both kids and adults. The movie will be screened at the ball fields on the south side of the park.
There will also be refreshments and “fun winter games” (I don’t know either).
This holiday event is delivered by Historic Harlem Parks and NYC Parks Movies Under The Stars.
