Bareburger will be opening two locations on the Upper West Side. One will be at 2233 Broadway, between 79th and 80th Streets. This space was formerly occupied by Ikinari Steak, which recently closed after a pretty short run.
I walked by the storefront on Thursday and had to share it on Instagram. The reactions were mostly positive (mostly).

According to notes from a recent Community Board 7 meeting, Bareburger will also be re-opening their old spot at 795 Columbus Avenue at 99th Street. They have applied for a liquor license for this location.
If you haven’t been to Bareburger, they serve a pretty wide variety of grass-fed burgers, plus some more unique burgers including one made from organic turkey, both Impossible and Beyond Burgers, as well as a veggie burger made from quinoa, chia and green pea.
Bareburger also has a kids menu and offers gluten-free and vegan milkshakes and desserts.
We’ll provide an update once we find out when Bareburger will be opening these two locations.Join the newsletter for more food + drink news:
