It’s time to celebrate one of your all time favorite comfort foods. Here are, in my opinion, the very best French fries on the Upper West Side !!
Cafe Luxembourg
200 West 70th Street (between West End and Amsterdam)
This iconic Upper West Side restaurant is known for their frites, which I seriously recommend you get with the parmesan. These are perfectly crispy shoestring french fries and great with mayo! Cafe Luxembourg is a great place to eat near Lincoln Center.

Five Guys
2847 Broadway (between 110th and 111th Streets)
Five Guys offers its fans humungous portions cooked in pure peanut oil and with no cholesterol.
You can choose between “Five Guys Style” and their cajun fries.
- Five Guys Style: these fresh fries cooked twice and are made to order for each and every one of their customers. Nice and crispy on the outside and buttery soft on the inside.
- Cajun Style: Prepared the same way but with lots of Cajun spices. You can get the spices on the side.

This Columbia burger place has some sweet fries on their menu!

Dive Bar
732 Amsterdam Ave (corner of 96th Street)
This is the dive bar often referred to as “Dive 95”. Try their poutine, made with farm fresh cheddar cheese melted under hot, thick gravy!
Or their “Dive Fries” and sweet potato Dive Fries.
