Cookies, cupcakes, and pies – oh my! Billy’s Bakery, the wildly popular chain of NYC bakeries, will open their Upper West Side shop at 7:30am on Wednesday, January 23rd! They’re UWS location is at 410 Columbus Ave, between 79th and 80th Streets.

Billy’s Bakery has been making cakes, cheesecakes, cookies, cupcakes and pies in New York for the past fifteen years in their Chelsea, Tribeca and Plaza Hotel Food Hall locations. Beginning in 2003, two friends who met in business school “shared a sweet tooth and a dream of baking” and created Billy’s Bakery.

They run on a pretty simple idea—“to provide delicious moments and treats from your local neighborhood bakery”. All of their baked goods are made from scratch daily! Billy’s Bakery says, “For us, that smell when you walk into a real local bakery is almost as important as the taste. And we’re never going to lose that”.
You may have heard of Billy’s for their delicious Red Velvet Cake or Famous Icebox Cake (pictured below), but don’t forget to try the Banana Cake, Bourbon Salt Caramel Cake and Coconut Cake!
If you’re not in the mood for a whole cake, you may have a hard time choosing between cupcake favorites such as German Chocolate, Raspberry Citrus or Banana Nutella (below)!
For those looking for classic flavors, Billy’s offers both cakes and cupcakes in Chocolate and Vanilla as well. Billy’s says that they only use the freshest, highest-quality ingredients in their baked goods, including real butter, whole eggs, and fresh fruit and nuts. They promise that they do not use any preservatives in their products.
