NYPD officials say the body of a 29-year-old man was found in the courtyard of an Upper West Side building Wednesday morning.
Police got the call about about 11:41 a.m. and responded to the scene, discovering the “unconscious, unresponsive” man in the side courtyard of 65 West 90th Street, just east of Columbus Avenue. EMS pronounced him deceased at the scene and the NYPD says his “injuries [were] indicative of a fall from an elevated position.”

An investigation remains ongoing and the Chief of Medical Examiner will determine the official cause of death. The identity of the deceased is pending family notification.
This news comes just a few days after a man’s body was found in the Hudson River near 79th Street.
