Boulevard Seafood Company has recently opened at 2745 Broadway, between 105th and 106th Streets, where Henry’s was previously located. The owner of Henry’s, Henry Rinehart, sold the restaurant to his business partner, Scott Snyder, who owns another Boulevard Seafood Company in Somerset, NJ. Henry’s was a fixture on the Upper West Side, open since 1999. So one goal of the new restaurant, and hope among locals, was for the transition to be smooth, and for the new spot to pay homage to the old one.
One early review from OpenTable seems to confirm the transition From Henry’s to Boulevard Seafood Company was executed successfully:
This is an exciting and very encouraging reincarnation of the spirit established by Henry himself. The ambiance remains as welcoming and embracing as before and Boulevard Seafood has brought back seafood to the UWS after the closures of Docks and Ocean Grill. Keep up the good vibes!”
Here’s a look at some of the food:
And some great looking desserts.
Boulevard Seafood Company will be open for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 4pm, lunch on weekdays from 12pm to 5pm, and dinner from 5pm to 9:30pm every day except Sunday (when they close at 8:30pm).
