SummerStage is the largest outdoor free performing arts festival of its kind. It takes place around different venues of NYC; to be precise, 18 neighborhood parks this year!  The SummerStage 2019 concerts will take place at Rumsey Playfield. The venue is located by 14 E. 71st street in Central Park. The City Parks Foundation backs SummerStage. Funds from each ticket also support the continuation of this wonderful performing arts festival.

SummerStage was founded in 1968 with the mission of enriching the lives of New Yorkers and exposing residents of all five boroughs to the arts. The festival has become a signature summer must-do activity for many West Siders, and attracts over 250,000 visitors each year.
