Cocktail Parlor and Social Eatery, the Owl’s Tail, Has Opened

Last modified on September 2nd, 2018

New restaurant The Owl’s Tail has finally opened on the Upper West Side! Located at 215 West 75th Street (between Broadway and Amsterdam), the new café promises to be both a cocktail parlor and social eatery for guests.

One of the most exciting parts of The Owl’s Tail joining the Upper West Side restaurant scene is that it is being run by two Upper West Side natives—Lawrence Bondulich and his wife Stephanie Bondulch. Stephanie Bondulch is not only a singer/songwriter, but is showing her culinary talents as a savvy cocktail creator and baking extraordinaire. Together, Lawrence and Stephanie are bringing this Upper West Side café to the neighborhood for all to enjoy.

For those excited and ready to try the Owl’s Tail menu, the restaurant had their soft opening on July 21st. Guests report that the menu is looking to be a mix of spirits and seasonal bites.

The cocktails are said to be inspired by global spirits and look to offer a more unique taste than a typical cocktail. The cocktail ingredients will include fresh local herbs, fruits, vegetables and house made bitters/syrups. Restaurant goers are already reporting that the cocktail menu is almost four pages long!

For food, The Owl’s Tail will offer bar snacks, global tapas, homemade pastas and baked goods made by owner, Stephanie.
