The owner of Coffeeberry originally planned on beginning a renovation in Mid-November. But it was recently confirmed that Coffeeberry has closed for good. We first found out about this through a Facebook group called Great Kosher Restaurant Foodies, and recently spoke with the owner to confirm it.

The owner, Avigayil Straus, was planning on renovating the restaurant so that her son could take over operations, but unfortunately must now let it go.
A certified personal trainer, Avigayil opened Coffeeberry in 2015. Her mission was to introduce fresher and healthier Kosher food to the community.
Since it opened, Coffeeberry became an Upper West Side fixture with a bevy of regular customers and outstanding reviews.
Straus is looking to sell the restaurant or their assets. The prospective buyer can run it as Coffeeberry or start their own restaurant in the existing space.
The Upper West Side restaurant is about 1,200 square feet and can seat between 40 and 50 people. It is located at 618 Amsterdam Avenue, on the corner of 90th and Amsterdam.
There is a seven year lease remaining at approximately $13,000 per month (with an option to renew for another five).
If you are interested in purchasing the restaurant or any of their assets, please contact the owner by email or at (718) 757-5303.
