Condo Development at 555 West End Avenue

Condo Development at 555 West End Avenue

Construction seems to be accelerating at 555 West End Avenue, a new condo development by Tamarkin Co and Cheerland Investments. The condo will have 13 duplex apartments.

Tamarkin purchased the former St. Agnes School for Girls for $50 million in 2014.

According to an article from The Real Deal, he’s looking to sell the project for $161.3 million.

The average apartment price will be $12.4 million, making them among the most expensive Upper West Side apartments (trailing buildings like 15 Central Park West, The Time Warner Center and The Dakota).

The building exterior will maintain a lot of its original detail, which includes red brick and terra cotta.

Building amenities will include a gym, playroom and roof top terrace.

We’re not sure when the expected completion date will be, but we’ll update this post once we have more info.
