Earlier today, New York YIMBY announced that construction of The Park Loggia at 15 West 61st Street has been completed.
This is the residential section of 1865 Broadway, which is where the Columbus Circle Target is scheduled to open in the fall of 2020 (hopefully). Originally, Target announced that it would open as soon as building construction was complete, but that is clearly not the case.
According to New York YIMBY, occupancy at The Park Loggia began in the fall of 2019. Sales were launched in May 2019.
The 33 story, 416 foot tower was designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill and developed by AvalonBay Communities,
The new development condo comes with approximately 20,000 square feet of amenities, including:
- A wraparound outdoor terrace and garden with barbecues.
- A resident lounge with a custom gas fireplace.
- The “Rooftop Crown Park Loggia”, a covered outdoor space with lounge seating and landscaping (first image below).
- Children’s playroom
- Health club
- Media room
The condo houses 172 Upper West Side apartments, currently ranging in price from $1.2 million (for a 657 square foot studio) to $7.125 million (for a 1,916 square foot 3 bedroom). Apartment features include floor-to-ceiling windows, expansive views, wide-plank white oak floors, Brazilian quartzite countertops, White Carrara master bathrooms and custom millwork throughout.
