Construction has been completed at Waterline Square, New York YIMBY has announced. The three building complex is located between 59th and 61st Streets along the Hudson River, with a landscaped park in the center.

This is quite a large footprint on the southern portion of the UWS. The three buildings collectively house 1,188 apartments, which are a mix of condos and rentals. Streeteasy currently lists 91 active sales and 5 active rentals. The total footprint between the buildings comes out to over 2 million square feet.

The complex comes with over 100,000 square feet of amenities, including a rock climbing wall, skate park, tennis and basketball courts, a bowling alley, soccer field and more.

A number of commercial tenants will, eventually, be opening at the complex. Now that construction is complete, hopefully these places will open sooner than later.

These upcoming commercial tenants include CiprianiSomm Cellars Wine & Spirits and Empellón Taqueria.

Waterline Square is the second UWS development to officially be announced as “complete” just days after the first phase of NYC’s reopening, which includes construction. The Park Loggia, located at 15 West 61st Street, has recently been completed as well.

In addition, New York YIMBY announced that 200 Amsterdam Avenue is almost complete (despite a lawsuit challenging the height of the building.)
