Management and staff members from City Diner, Manhattan Diner and Metro Diner have been sweeping the streets between 90th and 100th on Broadway for the past week, New York Post reports.
“It’s gotten bad the past month. Sometimes it looks like a garbage dump,” 36-year-old John Tsiamtsiouris, co-owner of the three restaurants told the Post. “We’re doing something to try to make it better.”

Congratulations to the three diner employer and all the employees. We need more like you!
Love all those diners and eat in them when I can very enthusiastically
Thank you, Metro! (But you should, since you charged me $4.00 for a single boiled egg in addition to my $17.00 salad.)
Good on you guys!Keep up the good work!
Was it a free range chicken egg?
As I took my everyday walk today I was able to see so much garbage on street specially where the new dine extensions have been place and streets don’t get cleaned , I wonder why can the restaurants be responsible to clean their area as we all trying to benefit for all we lost , this would definitely make the city cleaner And a more inviting environment.
Great Job! Most important would be to remember this in the future when things are different (Hopefully). Apparently they did not just clean in front of their space, they went beyond and that needs to be recognized as a truly good neighbor.

Huge shout out to all those involved in this clean up. I have visited Metro Diner a number of times and they offer a fantastic experience all around. Great food, great atmosphere, and a professional staff. I will certainly go out of my way to now visit the others diners mentioned herein as well. Fantastic job and way to be leaders in the community.
As a Commercial space you are required by law to do so. Overpriced and not very friendly service. I much prefer the super nice people over at the American Diner, family owned, much more reasonably priced, and struggling under scaffolding on west 102 and Broadway.
