Most of our social lives have have been limited to Zoom and FaceTime over the last few months. But with things beginning to reopen, we’ll soon be able to (safely) see our friends and relatives in person again. And if you’re anything like me, food plays a major role in social gatherings.
There’s an Upper West Side chef who can bring both the quality and – perhaps more importantly – the experience of a special sit down meal to the comfort of your home.
That chef is a young man named Eliot Ramirez. After graduating from culinary school in 2015, the 26 year old Upper West Sider worked at several UWS restaurants including Burke & Wills and Kirsh Bakery and Kitchen (which he actually helped open), while also working as a menu consultant for Bean’s & Lager, a popular restaurant in Astoria.
He then launched his business – Eating in with Eliot – in 2018. Eliot quickly gained a devoted customer base for his “approachable yet elevated” cuisine and his multiple course dinners, consisting of seasonally fresh plates that all can (and do) enjoy.
Eliot’s popularity comes from both the deliciousness of his food and the experience of his dinners. He likes to share the stories and logic behind all of the food he prepares, including details like the nutrients and what’s available in season, how the food is prepared, and his inspiration behind some of his dishes.
Chef Eliot feels for those who’ve had to cancel or postpone their events and celebrations. Now, as we begin to see each other again, he’s excited to help Upper West Siders celebrate life’s special moments – and is offering flexible rates for his services.
So if you’re ready (or will soon be ready) to get back to living life to the fullest – get in touch with Chef Eliot to make your next big (or small) moments memorable … and insanely delicious.
