The outdoor music festival, Elsie Fest, returns to Central Park SummerStage this Saturday, October 5th from 6-10pm. The festival, co-created and produced by Darren Criss, Ricky Rollins, and Jordan Roth, features not only Broadway performers but composers, writers, and anyone with Broadway ties.
Elsie Fest, now in its fifth year, is the brainchild of multi-talented Darren Criss, who said he was inspired to bring the idea of cabaret shows and music festivals together. In a recent interview with Broadway.com, he said, “At the end of the day whether you know Broadway or not these are amazing performers. We’re in the Olympic tent of the best performers in the world right here in New York city. And you get to see them at a pretty bargain price considering you don’t have to pay for a Broadway ticket.” Ticket prices are $65 for general admission and $95 for VIP bleachers.
