Felice has announced that it will be opening its doors at 240 Columbus Avenue, between 71st and 72nd Streets, on Thursday, August 5. This space was formerly home to Oxbow Tavern, which closed in June but expects to reopen at another location at some point.
It was first announced that Felice, an Italian restaurant and wine bar, would be expanding to the UWS in November 2020. This will be Felice’s seventh NYC restaurant, with other locations on the Upper East Side, the Financial District, at the Time Out New York Market in Dumbo, and in Midtown at West 56th Street.
They’re now ready to welcome the Upper West Side and have sent us this finalized lunch and dinner menu.
The space two level space is almost 4,000 square feet, with floor-to-ceiling windows on the ground-level dining space and an intimate cocktail and wine lounge on the lower level.
Felice’s extensive drink menu will include several Negroni cocktails and a build-your-own-Negroni option.
Here are some menu highlights (all photos c/o Felice):

So another Italian-eque restaurant on Columbus, or just off the avenue, in the West 60s and 70s.
How original.
And it’s part of a small NYC chain.

Classic real estate writing, copied from press release it looks to be. Sure this isn’t an I-L-UWS advertorial?
Looks delicious! And thank you for favoring veal etc over pork in the ground meat dishes. It makes the menu more accessible for UWS diners.
