Free Fall Music at Waterline Square Park

Beginning on Wednesday, September 16, free music performances will take place at Waterline Square Park, a lush new three-acre green space located at Freedom Place South between West 59th Street and West 61st Street. Three additional performances will take place every other Wednesday through the end of October.

The event series will kick off with award-winning saxophonist and composer Paul Jones, joined by grammy-nominated organist Pat Bianchi and drummer Chris Smith.

Here’s the full schedule:

  • September 16 at 6:30pm – The Paul Jones Jazz Trio
  • September 30 at 6pm – An Evening of Solo Bach: Award-winning musicians Anthony Bracewell (violin) and Luke Krafka (cello) will perform some of Bach’s solo partitas and suites.
  • October 14 at 5:30pm – Romantic String Trios: Ravenna Lipchik (violin), Drew Ricciardi (viola), and Luke Krafka (cello) will perform string trio performances by Mexican composer Manuel Ponce, German composer Ludwig van Beethoven, and finally, Hungarian composer Ernst von Dohnanyi.
  • October 28 at 5:30pm – BlueGrassTrios: Musical compilations from bluegrass trios.
