Free Music + Movies This Week

Last modified on September 10th, 2019

This week presents us with the opportunity to listen, dance and watch, while enjoying the not-so-scorching temperatures. Here are a few outdoor events happening on the Upper West Side!

Wednesday, August 7th

As of now, there’s an 80% chance of precipitation, so maybe have a back up plan.

As part of Lincoln Square’s summer afternoon concert series, two groups will be performing at Richard Tucker Park between 12 and 2pm. From 12-1pm, harmonious hard-rock bad The Beautiful Distortionwill perform. And from 1-2pm, Beatles Tribute band The Meetles will take the “stage”.

Also on Wednesday, with seating opening at 6:30pm, a free screening of Kubo and the Two Strings will be held at Pier I at Riverside Park South. More info here.
