French Restaurant Week on the Upper West Side

French Restaurant Week goes from July 3rd to 16th, and includes discounts at many French restaurants in New York to celebrate Bastille Day (which is July 14th).  The following two Upper West Side NYC restaurants will be included!

After French Restaurant Week is “regular” NYC Restaurant Week, which will begin on July 24th.

Cafe du Soleil

2723 Broadway

Cafe du Soleil will be offering three menus.

A 3 course lunch for $17.89.

  • Appetizer options are a leek and potato soup and a mixed green salad.
  • Entrees include steamed mussels with fries or spinach and cheese tortellini.
  • Dessert can be either chocolate mousse or a creme brulee.

A 3 course dinner for $38.

  • Appetizer options include a beet and arugula salad, Burgundy snails with a garlic parsley butter sauce and grilled sardines in olive oil.
  • Entrees include a grilled salmon, roasted organic chicken or skirt steak.
  • Same desserts as those offered with lunch!

Bistro Cassis

Bistro Cassis is offering the following menus.

Lunch for $17.89 includes:

  • A glass of wine – either a pinot noir or sauvignon blanc
  • Entree choices are a baby spinach salad with goat cheese and walnuts, grilled chicken breast sandwich, or elbow pasta with French ham and a light cream sauce.

Dinner for $38 includes:

  • A glass of wine – either a pinot noir or sauvignon blanc
  • Appetizers are a choice between the soup of the day and a Caesar salad.
  • Entree choices are a flatiron steak, Pan seared trout or the same elbow pasta mentioned above in their lunch menu.
