
Craft New York returns to Damrosch Park.
Craft New York will be taking place at Lincoln Center’s Damrosch Park (62nd between Columbus and Amsterdam avenues) on Saturday, October 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, October 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Vendors will showcase clothing, jewelry and handbags; sculptures and paintings; and a wide variety of gourmet foods. Also on Saturday, October 1 is the Upper Broadway Festival, a street fair taking place on the east side of Broadway from 110th to 116th streets. Expected hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
On the following Sundays from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Riverside Park Conservancy is presenting its free Overlook Concerts series at the 116th Street Overlook:
- October 2: French Cookin’ Blues, David “Doc” French leads authentic New York Blues derived from the Delta to Chicago, Texas, Louisiana, and our own great city.
- October 9: The James Limerick Kerr Bluegrass Trio. Bluegrass uses traditional instruments and vocal harmonies to create this rousing sound.
- October 16 Manhattan School of Music Jazz Trio, Daniella Pruitt, leads the best of Jazz standards in their own incomparable style.
