Celebrate this Halloween at St. John The Divine … they’ve got two upcoming events!

Crypt Crawls

October 26th and 27th 

The annual Crypt Crawls teach us the history of Halloween and how it originated as a celebration of the Celtic New Year. After the lesson, guests will hear the fear-inducing stories from the already buried. The crawl ends with a visit to the Cathedral’s crypt for those who dare venture down below.

Ages 12 and up.

Halloween Extravaganza

Friday, October 26th

This celebration will begin with a screening of Nosferatu, complete with live organ accompaniment!

Following the film, Ralph Lee’s Mettawee River Theater Company will present fantastic creatures of the night. Costumed actors will run up and down the pews, frightening audience members with ghoulish sights of demons, witches and more!
