Hey Hey Canteen will be opening up a location at Turnstyle in Columbus Circle this month, they recently announced on their Facebook page. The Asian eatery recently had a pop-up shop at Gotham Market, located in Fort Greene. Their last day of operation at the Brooklyn market was December 22nd.
Self-described on their website as “A fresh approach to Asian comfort food with vegan and gluten free options”, the upcoming Columbus Circle restaurant will offer a variety of noodles, dumplings, sandwiches and salads.

Their Hong Kong Fried Chicken Sandwich: tamari-palm sugar glazed chicken breast, crispy ramen crust, green mango, radish pickles and umami aioli on a bao bun.
All of their dumplings; they offer pork, chicken, veggie, and a gluten-free veggie option.
Singapore Noodles: made here with their zucchini noodles, this dish is prepared with madras curry spices, kabocha squash, bell peppers, onions and eggs.
Hey Hey Canteen also has a $13 lunch menu which comes with a choice of noodle, protein and drink. In addition, they provide catering services and private events. Their Brooklyn location had a review score of 4 out of 5 stars on both Yelp and Google.
