We first heard that Jack’s Stir Brew would be opening an Upper West Side location in May of 2018. And they were supposed to open that summer. It seemed strange that a year later, they still hadn’t opened. But one of our readers, Debra Hoffman, has informed us that Jack’s Stir Brew’s “opening soon” sign has been replaced by a “for rent” sign.
The coffee chain was supposed to open a location at 370 Columbus Avenue, between 77th and 78th Streets. The last tenant at this space was New Museum Deli.
The 500 square foot space is being by RKF.
If you’re disappointed because you were itching for a new coffee place, feel free to check out About Coffee at 445 Columbus Avenue (between 81st and 82nd) or Black Press Coffee at 274 Columbus Avenue (between 72nd or 73rd Streets).
