The lobby cafe at the JCC (334 Amsterdam Ave at 76th Street) has reopened this week after being closed for more than two years.
It’s called Chef’s Table, and it’s currently open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (though it may extend to weekend hours come fall).
The menu offers a kosher breakfast, lunch and snacks.
Some noteworthy lunches include a baby kale caesar salad, kale pesto salmon cake, spinach soufflé, seared tuna over Asian slaw, fish tacos, mini bagel with lox, and mushroom cake over quinoa.
Some of the sweet treats you can find at Chef’s Table include muffins, brownies, apple cake and bread pudding. The cafe also sells candy, gourmet popcorn, and other packaged treats.
