The Upper West Side’s boutique math tutoring program – Rocket Club Math – has opened a pop-up experience for children 7 to 14.
The pop-up is located at 418 Columbus Avenue (at West 80th Street).
During the 1-hour pop up experience, children:
- Take a math diagnostic with a Rocket Club Math Expert to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses.
- Explore how math is used by engineers, astrophysicists, scientists, entrepreneurs and more in a career-discovery exercise.
- Learn how math is used to build & code robotics (with a fun demo!).
- Immerse themselves in a math-focused virtual reality experience.
- Experience what it is like to be a Rocket Club Math member & go home with some custom merchandise.
