Longest Lines on the Upper West Side

Every NYC neighborhood has its hot spots.  There are always a number of stores, restaurants, bars and bakeries which dominate and, regardless of the wait time, will continue to see lines out the door.  Here are my top three Upper West Side locations with the longest lines!  For you local residents, try to go during off hours!!

Trader Joe’s

What they’re in line for:  amazingly low prices! But luckily a second Upper West Side Trader Joe’s opened in May of 2018, providing some much needed relief for busy shoppers.

Levain Bakery

What they’re in line for:  giant, fresh, AMAZING cookies! Levain Bakery has opened a second Levain Bakery (with much shorter lines, as it’s a larger space).

Prohibition

What they’re in line for:  a great singles scene which is found in greater abundance in our downtown neighborhoods, and high-energy live music and dancing.
