The NYPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating an unidentified male wanted for a forcible touching incident on the Upper West Side.
It was reported to police that on Tuesday, September 6 at about 6:30 a.m., a 24-year-old woman was approached by the suspect on a southbound B train approaching the 81st St.-Museum of Natural History subway station. He stated that he “could touch anyone he wants” and that he would “stab people in the eyes.” He then “forcibly grabbed the victim’s buttocks,” police say.
The victim and other bystanders got off the train at 72nd and CPW, while the perpetrator remained on the southbound train.
So sad that there are so many insane people on subways now. How to deal with this I wonder? I was on the 2 train to Brooklyn yesterday and there was a guy walking up and down the compartment in a state of alarm, clutching his genitals and looking like he was totally out of control. Very sad. How to help these people? Dunno.
A measure of a society is how it takes care of its own who live in the shadows.
We are NOT #1.
