NYPD officials have issued an alert about an assault which took place on a downtown 1 train near an Upper West Side subway station this month. Police are hoping that someone will be able to assist them in identifying and locating the wanted individual.
According to the police report, an unidentified suspect approached a 30-year-old male victim on a southbound 1 train approaching the West 110th Street station on January 1 at about 9:15 a.m. The suspect then “stabbed the victim multiple times throughout the body with an unknown object,” according to the report.
The victim sustained lacerations throughout his body and was transported by EMS to an area hospital.
Police have shared surveillance imagery of the suspect.
