A new art installation by Mark Manders has been installed on 60th and Fifth Avenue. The “Tilted Head” sits right at the entrance to the park. The exhibition will be on display between March 6th and September 1st, 2019, at Doris C. Freedman Plaza.
While it looks like it is made out of clay, the entire sculpture was created with cast bronze.
Mark Manders: Tilted Head is curated by Public Art Fund Director & Chief Curator Nicholas Baume.

Mark Manders hails from The Netherlands, and has always been fascinated by the human figure, especially the head, which throughout his career he’s depicted as a separate element.
