Meet Art Garfunkel at Barnes & Noble

Art Garfunkel will be signing copies of his book, “What Is It All but Luminous: Notes from an Underground Man”, at 7pm Wednesday at the Barnes & Noble on 82nd and Broadway. Pre-signed copies will be available at registers earlier in the day.

The event space will open at 5pm for those with a receipt of the book.

Garfunkel’s memoir explores his life as a musician (both as a partner and a solo act), a friend, husband and father. He writes about growing up in the 1940s in Kew Gardens, meeting Paul Simon, and being a pop sensation from the tender age of sixteen.

“It’s hard to imagine any single word that would accurately describe this book . . . an entertaining volume that’s more fun to read than a conventional memoir might have been.”   — The Wall Street Journal

“A charming book of prose and poetry printed in a digitalized version of his handwriting . . . witty, candid, and wildly imaginative . . . A highly intelligent man trying to make sense of his extraordinary life.”  — Associated Press
