The existing Mexikosher at 100 West 83rd Street will now be joined by two additional kosher restaurants: Carlos & Gabby’s and Graze Smokehouse. So the location will now be three restaurants in one! We discovered this from an announcement posted on Great Kosher Restaurant Foodies.

Graze Smokehouse serves authentic southern BBQ with a “Tex-Mex Twist” (and yes they are kosher as well!). They have one location in Long Island, so this will be their second. The menu includes lots of burgers, beef cuts, sandwiches and poultry. They also have a jerky section which includes some unique flavors like their Cherry Cola Jerky, and another flavored with Belgian beer and lemon zest. Other unique offerings include flavored sausage sticks and a chili maple bacon platter.
Here are all three menus listed on Mexikosher’s website.
Could restaurants sharing space be a growing trend?
Just recently, another kosher place called Modern Bread and Bagel opened at 472 Columbus Ave (right down the street, at 83rd Street). And soon, the space will morph into a Mediterranean restaurant named Arba at 5:30pm every day.
Perhaps if more restaurants decide to split the rent it will decrease the slew of closings (like the many kosher places we’ve lost recently).
