Police say a verbal dispute led to an assault involving multiple slashings in Central Park this weekend.
According to the report, the incident occurred at about 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, July 6 near West Drive and 67th Street when a 42-year-old man was approached by two unknown individuals. An argument ensued and the suspects, pictured above, “proceeded to slash the victim multiple times about the body with knives,” NYPD officials report.
The suspects fled the location on foot, westbound on West 66th Street. The victim was transported by EMS to Mount Sinai West Hospital in stable condition.
It wasn’t immediately clear if the victim and suspects knew each other.
