This new Mexican restaurant is located at 768 Amsterdam; it’s first and original location is at 5025 Broadway (up on 215th Street in Inwood).
Reviews for the uptown restaurant are solid, so this should be a great addition to the UWS (4 out of 5 stars on both Google and Yelp, and 4.7 stars on their Facebook page).
Popular items include:
- 3 Arrachera Tacos (Hanger steak and onions. Corn or flour tortilla, cilantro, onion, radish and enchilada sauce or salsa verde)
- Pollo Nachos (Chicken. Totopos, refrito, cheese, sour cream, jalapeno rajas, pico de gallo and guacamole sauce)
Included on their menu are four variations of guacamole and tons of tacos.

“I’d like to highlight that they offer huitlacoche-corn fungus akin to a light, smoky truffle-which is hard to find elsewhere.”
