Floating Mountain, a new Upper West Side Tea House, has set up shop on the second floor at 239 West 72nd Street and will be open daily from 11am-9pm.
This is a peaceful and well-lit space which has had a couple of live jazz events. If you follow them on Facebook or sign up for their newsletter, you can get the notice on their next event.
So far, they have 50 Chinese teas on their menu, all imported by the owners, and they plan to expand. This is a calming place to sit and enjoy a cup of tea (they don’t sell tea-to-go).
They already have 8 five star reviews on Yelp (including the two reviews that got filtered).
