“The difference between pickup sports and league sports is that the pressure is off,” says Abecassis.
New teams are chosen every week!
Fall programming – which includes Sunday morning pickup flag football for both boys and girls – is slated to begin on December 5 at West 101st Street in Riverside Park (at the turf fields).
The weekly schedule includes:
- 7th & 8th grade flag football from 11:00am-11:55am
- 9th & 10th grade flag football from 11:00am-11:55am
- 11th & 12th grade flag football from 12:00pm-12:55pm
Dates: Sundays, December 5 to March 6 (Excluding 12/26, 1/2, 1/23 & 2/27)
When: Sunday mornings from 11:00am – 12:55pm
