The Origins located at 2327 Broadway, between 84th and 85th Streets, posted a sign in their window which states they’ll be closing on January 26th, but that “It’s Not Goodbye. It’s See You Nearby”.
I’m not sure if that means they’ll be opening up another location on the Upper West Side or what.
The cosmetics chain does have their products set up at the Sephora locations on the Upper West Side (2103 Broadway between 73rd and 74th, as well as their location at the Time Warner Center). So perhaps they were referring to those.
