Suspect Wanted For Assaulting 75-Year-Old Man on 72nd Street

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual who attacked a 75-year-old man on the Upper West Side.

The assault took place on December 20 at 2:50am. The suspect followed the victim into the Capital One Bank at 175 West 72 Street, between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenue. Surveillance video shows him strike the man from behind, at which point the victim fell to the floor. The suspect then kicked him twice in the head before exiting the bank.

The victim was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital where he was treated for a laceration to his eye.
