A new Thai restaurant just opened at 126 West 72nd Street (formerly occupied by Lime Leaf). Thai 72 has a dimly lit interior and very cool ambiance. Plus their bar looks awesome. Hopefully it will stick around for a while!
So far they have nine 5-star reviews, so definitely worth checking out.

Relaxed atmosphere, spectacular and friendly service, delicious food, and affordable prices. I tried the Spicy Lychee Martini, the Fried Calamari, and the Drunken Noodle with chicken, and each dish was exceptional. Thai happens to be my favorite food, so I’m always looking to try out new spots and I think I’ve found a great one. If you are looking for a great Thai restaurant to try out locally, this is the one!”
