“Will you accept this rose?” Have you ever dreamed of hearing those words, or better yet, being a part of the selection process for who gets a rose? Well, now is your chance. Bachelor Live is coming to the Upper West Side’s Beacon Theatre on March 21st at 8pm.
Love them or hate them, the cast members of The Bachelor have helped the show become one of the most successful series on TV. One of the exciting aspects to Bachelor Live is that you never know who is going to make an appearance. Two Bachelor Nation favorites, Ben Higgins and Becca Kufrin, will host the show.
According to the website, “The Bachelor Live On Stage Official Tour guarantees all the drama, the gossip and the romance of your favorite TV show in one delightful evening for the ultimate fan party.”
During the show, audience members will have a say in the rose ceremony. As the dates unfold on stage, audience members will help guide the bachelor on his journey to choosing one lucky lady.
So how does this all work? First, one local bachelor is selected for each city of the tour. Ladies can apply on the website for their chance of being on stage during the show to win the final rose. You may find out in advance if you have been selected, but you also might get pulled from your seat during the show. That’s wild!
Then, “through a series of games, challenges, onstage dates and other fun ‘getting to know you’ scenarios we whittle our way down through multiple rose ceremonies until our local Bachelor has found the lady he’s most compatible with. Audience members can help the women and bachelor along the journey by asking questions, making suggestions and cheering on the participants. If you like the TV show then you’re going to love Bachelor Live On Stage!!! All the drama, fun and romance in one unforgettable evening.”
If you are wondering who the New York City Bachelor will be, follow their Instagram page @bachelorliveonstage where you can find all of the updates and details of who the chosen bachelors are. The most recent posting was of Ryan S. who was chosen for Philadelphia. He enjoys rock climbing, skiing, trying new food, and traveling. His ideal date would be going on an adventure together.
Another Bachelor Live contestant from Spokane, Corbin C., said he enjoys collecting board games and writing, and that his ideal date is people-watching in an airport! One last mention is Chris K., from Cheyenne, who was a former American Ninja Warrior Contestant. His ideal date would include skiing and celebrating the day with dinner and drinks.
The Instagram page also includes tips on guest appearances. For example, Tayshia Adams and Katie Morton were recently in Los Angeles.
Whether you fall into the camp of being super excited to be a part of something you love watching on TV, or have never seen the show in your life, this live show promises to bring fun, drama, and potentially, new love.
