The Flying Fisherman is now open at 269 Columbus Avenue. In the same location is a take out joint called Fish on the Fly.
The seafood menu includes gluten-free “jalea”, which is a potato powder crusted seafood mix with onions and cilantro oil, and a $29 lobster roll.
They also have a daily happy hour from 5 to 7pm which includes $1 cherrystone clams, $3 baked clams, $8 cocktails and $5 beers.
Some of the cocktails seem pretty interesting.
The “Upper Westie Mermaid”: prickly pear infused gin, elderflower liqueur, fresh lemon and lime and blood orange.
The “Blue Jellyfish”: blueberries, Titos vodka, fresh lemon, simple syrop and pinot noir.
The previous occupant at this location was AG Kitchen (which was also owned by The Restaurant Group).
